Supplemental lighting would have helped with the photos. it comes off as very dark but I bet in person in looks much brighter. Hard to judge what you can’t see and can only see a little of aquatic section.

This paludarium features an impressive variety of plants, all which appear to be growing in good health. The variety of species creates a wild, overgrown appearance. While such a collection may be impressive, the final result feels disjointed and under integrated. Selecting warm lighting is a unique choice, one that both helps and hurts this work. The warmer hues compliment those of the Hygrophila sp. growing in the foreground; however, it also darkens the display significantly. This darkness provides a great sense of mood at the expense of truly understanding what’s happening inside the display.
